Toprak quitte Dortmund pour le Werder

Dortmund dégraisse.

Après avoir beaucoup dépensé en début de mercato, le Borussia Dortmund tente maintenant de vendre. Et c’est Ömer Toprak qui a fait ce dimanche les frais de cette nouvelle dynamique, puisque le BVB a annoncé sur son site officiel le départ de l’international turc (27 sélection) pour le Werder Brême. Le joueur de trente ans a été prêté une saison, mais Brême dispose également d’une option d’achat.

Le défenseur était arrivé à Dortmund en 2017 en provenance du Bayer Leverkusen (203 matchs et sept buts, de 2011 à 2017), et ne s’est jamais totalement imposé au BVB (51 matchs, dont seulement quatorze la saison dernière). En quelques heures, le BVB s’est séparé de trois joueurs : Toprak donc, mais aussi Kagawa – transféré à Saragosse – et Philipp (parti vers le Dynamo Moscou).

Heureusement qu’Hummels est revenu…
