Mohamed Simakan prolonge au RB Leipzig

Le défenseur central du RB Leipzig, Mohamed Simakan, prolonge son contrat jusqu’en 2027. L’équipe allemande l’a officialisé aujourd’hui. Arrivé en 2021 dans le club de la Bundesliga, Simakan étend son bail d’une année supplémentaire. Le directeur sportif du club, Max Eberl, est très satisfait de cette prolongation : « Mohamed Simakan est un pilier absolu de l’équipe et s’identifie totalement au RB Leipzig. Nous sommes d’autant plus heureux de pouvoir prolonger son contrat de manière anticipée. »

Originaire de Marseille, le jeune joueur de 22 ans avait été recruté au RC Strasbourg pour pallier le départ de son compatriote Dayot Upamecano au Bayern Munich. Appelé pour la première fois en équipe de France espoirs cette saison, le défenseur de la formation allemande pourrait bientôt retrouver Dayot Upamecano en A.

Pour ça, il faudra être aussi bon qu’au bowling.
