Après avoir disposé d’Auxerre ce mercredi (3-2), Rodez a validé son billet pour les quarts de finale. Mais le tirage au sort sait être taquin, et le RAF a hérité de son voisin toulousain, pour un petit derby à disputer au Stadium. Il s’agira ainsi du vingt-deuxième déplacement consécutif pour les Ruthénois dans la compétition, le sixième cette saison (à Saint-Étienne, Roche-Saint-Genest, Monaco, Grasse et Auxerre). Certainement un record.
