Julian Schuster va succéder à Christian Streich à la tête de Fribourg

On connaît le nom du remplaçant de Christian Streich à Fribourg

Pas facile de remplacer le Sir Alex Ferguson du Bade-Wurtemberg.

Son départ en fin de la saison était annoncé depuis lundi, mais le nom de son remplaçant était encore inconnu : c’est finalement Julian Schuster qui prendra la place de Christian Streich à la tête du SC Fribourg. Lui succéder ne sera pas chose aisée, puisque le bourreau du RC Lens était en poste depuis 29 ans. Ancien capitaine de l’équipe, Schuster était resté au club, après avoir raccroché les crampons en 2018.

Avec 242 matchs entre 2008 et 2018 (et le brassard dès le mois de janvier 2012), Julian Schuster est un joueur historique du club, très apprécié des supporters. Les dirigeants fribourgeois ont décidé de faire confiance à un jeune coach, puisque l’ancien milieu défensif (38 ans) n’a encore jamais entraîné d’équipe.
