Quelques jours après avoir battu 27-0 le FC Rottach-Egern et à dix jours d’affronter le RB Leipzig pour la Supercoupe d’Allemagne, le Bayern Munich s’est (légèrement) rassuré en battant Liverpool sur le score de 4 buts à 3. Dans le cadre d’un match amical disputé au National Stadium à Singapour, ce sont pourtant les Reds qui ont ouvert la marque par l’intermédiaire de Cody Gakpo (2e) avant de marquer un deuxième but par Virgil van Dijk (28e). Les hommes de Thomas Tuchel sont ensuite revenus au score grâce à Serge Gnabry (33e) puis ont égalisé grâce à Leroy Sané (42e).

Les joueurs de Jürgen Klopp ont ensuite repris l’avantage grâce à Luis Diaz (66e) avant que les Allemands ne l’emportent finalement grâce à des buts de Josip Stanisic (80e) et de Frans Krätzig (90+1e).

Comme quoi, pas besoin d’Harry Kane pour marquer des buts.
