Neven Subotić revient en Allemagne et signe à l’Union Berlin

Le plus allemand des Serbes.

L’Union Berlin, fraîchement promu en Bundesliga, pourra compter sur un défenseur central d’expérience dans ses rangs la saison prochaine puisque Neven Subotić s’est engagé pour deux saisons avec le club berlinois. Libre de tout contrat après son passage à Saint-Étienne, il retrouve l’Allemagne où il a passé une grande partie de sa carrière, passant par Mayence, Dortmund et Cologne entre 2006 et 2017.

Neven Subotić devrait quitter Saint-Étienne

Son passage chez les Verts s’est moins bien terminé qu’il n’avait commencé, puisque Subotić a été dépassé dans la hiérarchie par le jeune William Saliba. Il avait néanmoins été l’un des hommes forts du redressement stéphanois lors de la deuxième partie de saison 2017-2018.
