Bryan Mbeumo va jouer pour le Cameroun

Changement d’air.

Après sept sélections et un but avec les Bleuets, c’est sous le maillot camerounais que Bryan Mbeumo (22 ans) va poursuivre sa carrière internationale. Ce sont les Lions Indomptables qui ont annoncé vendredi le choix du joueur de Brentford de porter les couleurs de l’équipe qualifiée pour la Coupe du monde au Qatar. Le Cameroun y affrontera la Suisse, la Serbie puis le Brésil.

Auteur de huit buts et sept passes décisives la saison dernière en Angleterre, l’attaquant formé à Troyes va rajeunir la ligne offensive de l’équipe coachée par Rigobert Song. Il évoluera notamment avec Vincent Aboubakar (30 ans), Eric Maxim Choupo Moting (33 ans) ou bien Karl Toko Ekambi (29 ans).

L’occasion de recroiser du beau monde dans le tunnel.
