L’Angleterre vient de perdre l’un de ses symboles : ancien international (5 sélections, entre 1982 et 1987) et attaquant mythique de West Bromwich Albion, Cyrille Regis est mort dimanche d’un arrêt cardiaque. La FA a annoncé la nouvelle ce lundi.

Buteur incroyable, Regis était surtout membre des Three Degrees, trio de joueurs noirs avec Laurie Cunningham et Brendon Batson du WBA des années 1980 qui ont permis d’éclater les frontières raciales du foot anglais.
